Self defined as “haute rock,” Young Empires combines elements of tribal percussion with rock vocals. Repetitive lyrics make it easy to sing along to the bouncy island beat. This Toronto group has opened for the likes of Vampire Weekend and Chromeo… so they must be good, right?
