Låpsley, aka Liverpool’s 18-year-old Holly Lapsley Fletcher, is making waves. Today she announced a partnership with an XL Records, also home base to the likes of FKA Twigs, King Krule, Sigur Rós, and Vampire Weekend: the result will be a (presumably glorious) EP released on January 5. She beautifully blends mellow electronic beats with soft vocals, creating a sassier version of Tycho that is primo focus/study music.
