Lust

It’s no surprise that Heavenly Beat is a side project of the Beach Fossils’ bassist John Pena. Lust weaves together bouncing beats and playful bongos with airy vocals in a manner true to the band’s name. These tracks both come from the band’s 2012 album, Talent; the group has since released two additional records, both of which thankfully retain their signature island-esque sound.
